NSW: Sydney radio man Jim Angel dies aged 67

SYDNEY, Dec 26 AAP - Former Sydney radio newsreader Jim Angel has died aged 67.

Mr Angel had a 44-year career in Sydney with stations 2UE, 2SM, 2GB and 2CH.

He achieved national fame as part of the team on the John Laws morning show on 2UE,
reading news and headlines, and becoming a part of the Laws' entertainment.

The broadcaster died at his home in the New South Wales Southern Highlands on Christmas Eve.
